KEYPAD INSTALLATION

This keypad and swingbolt are designed to fit most common safes and vault doors with the mounting dimensions in Figures A & B. If the existing mounting locations do not match, a professional locksmith will be required at your expense to install, and then verify the safe or vault door are secure.

• The VEXIS keypad and swingbolt are not designed to work with other brands of keypads and swingbolts. When installing the VEXIS keypad, the VEXIS swingbolt and cable must be installed also for reliable operation.
• The user-programmed code is stored in the swingbolt for security.
• The Keypad is designed to use common mounting studs with similar dimensions to Figure A.

If the current keypad uses a different mounting method, the door may need to be modified beyond what is covered in these instructions.

VEXIS™ SWINGBOLT INSTALLATION

NOTE: The Swingbolt is designed to use common swingbolt mounting hardware with similar dimensions to Figure B.

If the current swingbolt uses a different mounting method, then the Swingbolt may not be compatible or may require significant changes to the existing lock mechanism beyond what is covered in these instructions. Please consult a qualified locksmith if modifications are needed to the lock mechanism.
